Wisconsin Aquatic Invasive Species Management Plan

Description

This Wisconsin Aquatic Invasive Species Management Plan guides the state of Wisconsin’s approach to the impact of aquatic invasive species, which includes ecosystem disruption, spoiled recreational activities, reduced property values, clogged water intake pipes and, overall, higher costs incurred an effort to control them. Wisconsin Sea Grant’s aquatic invasive species specialist, who also has a partial appointment with the University of Wisconsin-Extension, led the multi-year development and adoption of the plan.
